Last Christmas

hi, i am back on my blog, was a bit busy helping my family to prepare for our new baby, who still did not arrive. now i finally have some time to take care of my blog, because we have nothing else to do except for waiting for the baby to arrive. everybody is looking forward to it and his mom i guess especially, she got a reaaaallly huuuuge belly!!! and his father as well will be very happy for the baby to arrive, becase like that he can skip work :) well... men are like that... and he is a bit freaking out expecting too, hehe, he is scared of the birth and is not looking forward going to the hospital, if the baby will decide to come by night. well, i can understand him, its kind of cold outside at the moment and it will be not so nice to leave warm bed for anybody, especially for going outside. 

but, wait, i wanted to tell you about our last Christmas, which we spend all alone at home. its was very cozy, we had some nice food. the plan was to have dinner in a french way, you know many courses arriving with quiet a long break between each course. but finally we only had 3 meal menü, which was delicious. see what we all got

drinks: we had some healthy juice for the future mummy, some belgium beers for the future daddy and myself. man! we love those belgium beers...! 

1 course: cheese puffpastry, very simple but yet nice

 

2 course: lamb with thymus and potato variation (gratin & pan), with cherry tomatoes

3 course: we had baked quince fruite for dessert with vanila icecream

as i mentioned all the simple food... but it was nice, and i really enjoed our time at home

PS: btw, forgot to tell what were the gifts! the mummy got parfume, the daddy got a cooking class voucher, which he is attending now! and i, got to keep the bottle of affligem beer
